Tidewatch Command
Tidewatch Command drops you in charge of a string of little harbour towns and asks you to keep them standing against wave after wave of trouble. It's a strategy game that leans on planning rather than fast reflexes, which suits touch controls really well. You draw supply routes with your finger and it feels natural.
The tension comes from never having quite enough. You're always one boat short or one wall too thin, and the game is good at making those trade-offs feel meaningful. I lost a whole town once because I got greedy expanding, and honestly that failure taught me more than any tutorial.
Sessions can run long if you let them, but you can pause and resume cleanly, which I appreciated. A thoughtful, slightly stressful strategy game in the best way.
What we liked
- Finger-drawn supply routes feel intuitive
- Meaningful resource trade-offs
- Clean pause and resume for on-the-go play
