Simulation
Orchard Keeper
★★★★☆ 4.2
Orchard Keeper is a slow, warm simulation about bringing a neglected orchard back to life. You plant, prune, wait for seasons to turn, and gradually the place fills back up with colour. It's not demanding, and that's the point — you check in, do a few tasks, and let it breathe.
What surprised me is how much personality the tiny things have. The bees have moods, the weather actually changes how your fruit turns out, and there's a rhythm to the seasons that made me want to log in each morning. It's honest comfort-food gaming.
It can feel a touch repetitive if you binge it, so I'd play it in small daily doses. As a wind-down companion, though, it's lovely.
What we liked
- Relaxing season-based rhythm
- Charming little details in every plant
- Great as a daily check-in game
