Lantern Hollow
★★★★★ 4.7
Lantern Hollow is the kind of game I recommend to people who say they don't like mobile games. You wander a foggy village at dusk, lighting lanterns and slowly piecing together what happened to the people who lived there. It's gentle, atmospheric, and quietly sad in a way that stuck with me.
There's no combat and no timers. You explore, you find little notes, you solve soft environmental puzzles by paying attention to your surroundings. Tapping to move feels deliberate, almost like turning pages. It never rushes you.
I finished it in two sittings and immediately wanted to start again to catch what I missed. If you want something calm to play before bed, this is it. Play with the sound on.
